Movie Summary: Using state-of-the-art equipment, a group of activists, led by renowned dolphin trainer Ric O’Barry, infiltrate a cove near Taijii, Japan to expose both a shocking instance of animal abuse and a serious threat to human health.
I’ve seen this documentary way too many times in my life but every time I watch it I can’t help but notice how much of a badass Ric O’Barry is. It’s funny how people always feel like they need to get involved in all these issues around the world and either never do, or lose interest very quickly. Thats one of the things that stands out to me about Ric O’Barry opposed to other people. His drive and persistence is something that I really admire because it’s a quality I don’t see in many people, including myself. I don’t know many people that would do things like him and his buddies did in order to get the evidence they needed in Taijii.
